Meet the Author

Rachel Esterline

Rachel Esterline is an independent author who writes motorcycle club novels about morally gray protectors and strong heroines who fight for found family—crossing lines in the haze of smoke, betrayal, and temptation.

Her love affair for books started in grade school, but she’s spent most of her life telling other people’s stories as a PR and marketing professional.

Eventually, fiction fought its way back to the front of the line. Now, Rachel blends her knack for gritty realism and sharp dialogue with her fascination for characters who live in the gray. Her novels dig into themes of loyalty, vengeance, and what it means to rebuild when life takes everything.

Rachel is based in the Lansing area in Michigan with her partner-in-crime of more than twenty years, Jeremy, and their two rescue dogs—Kimber and Ranger—whose wild spirits and stubborn loyalty wind their way into every canine character she writes.

She has two degrees from Central Michigan University—a bachelor's in integrative public relations and a master's in higher education administration—and her Accreditation in Public Relations from the Public Relations Society of America.

In addition to writing, Rachel runs a marketing communications consultancy and teaches at Michigan State University. She's also the founder of the MC Romance Book Club—a group focused on connecting readers to indie authors who publish motorcycle club romance novels. You can find her writing beside a crackling fire or in a corner booth of the nearest dive bar with a glass of whiskey.
